Testimonies
"I am one who knows the feeling of hopelessness. The feeling that there is nothing within my power or control that can fix the situation I am facing. I grew up in a dysfunctional home. I don’t know to this day where my mother is, or if she is still alive. Over the years, I have tried to make my home different from the one I grew up in. When I fail, I get frustrated and angry. When I see my family struggle with addictions, I blame it on my failures. I sought help from all of the traditional places for my family but not for myself. Celebrate Recovery is changing my life in an extreme way. I spend each Friday night with a fantastic group of people that realize they are not God, cannot control their lives, and want to let God take over the reins. We all realize that we cannot fix each other, but we can love and encourage each other. We eat together, laugh together, and study the steps of Celebrate Recovery together. Friday nights at The Warehouse have become my favorite night of the week. I encourage anyone struggling with a situation that feels hopeless to attend. Together, with God’s help, we can do anything." ~ Sam Martin.
